Do you know that 70% of lottery winners end up losing their winnings in the first 5 years? The main cause is due to reckless spending. They're unprepared.

I want to use this analogy to have you understand the importance of where you might be in your walk with Jesus. First, you need to understand that with Jesus in your life, you cannot fail. Yes, you may have roadblocks, but you are meant to be building your character and Authority in Jesus to overcome these roadblocks. You need to build your Faith in Jesus to the point of no worry. With you 100% knowing your authority in Jesus, you will have no worries.

Deuteronomy 31:8 AMP
"It is the Lord who goes before you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

We all want provision, abundance, etc. Yes, the banking system is meant to keep you enslaved. Yes, taxes are outrageous and meant to keep you enslaved. Yes, the system is rigged to keep you enslaved. Did you know that Jesus is bigger than any "system" around you?

What's one of the most important things that we forget about? The simple answer is our CHARACTER.

Romans 5:3-4 AMP
And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation].

A common assumption of Christianity is that you will be constantly persecuted, and you'll be poor. This couldn't be more from the Truth (Jeremiah 29:11). There are times and seasons for that.

God is not going to give you His full will for your life all at once. Why? You wouldn't be able to handle it. He needs to see your character build up. It's a walk with Jesus. A journey. It's not a sprint. You need to build your endurance. You need to be prepared for what His will is for you. He needs to be able to trust you, especially financially.

"The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous (Proverbs 13:22)."

It doesn't say the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the unprepared, the untrustworthy, the prideful, etc.

70 % of lottery winners that lose their prosperity is because they're unprepared. They obviously didn't obtain the maturity for unprecedented wealth.

Yes, on your walk with God, he will provide for you, but the abundance comes when he can trust you with it. Malachi 3:10 says He will open the windows of heaven for you, if it is used CORRECTLY. Are you striving to work for His Kingdom/the right reasons or your own personal desires?

Psalm 37:4 AMP
"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart."

He'll give you the desires and petitions of your heart, but He wants your character to change for the Kingdom. Where is your heart at? You cannot be conformed to the ways of the world (Romans 12:2).

True wealth is your overall way of living. Health, finances, character, etc. You need to build yourself up for the Kingdom, and He will give you everything that is His perfect will.

If you're uncomfortable and feeling the need to move forward in Jesus, THATS GOOD. The Holy Spirit wants you to move. He's more interested in your character than you being comfortable. God will allow you to go through situations to build that character. Test you. Learn about & use your authority that was given to you. He will start to trust you with more. That will build.

Look at the Great Awakening. Some people only think that this time is to take down the evil. It's so much more than that. God is building a remnant. People He can trust to further His Kingdom. Why would God flip everything around for you to turn around and lose it all again?

Are you ready (truly ready) to step into God's promise? Or are you going to wander through the wilderness, struggling, wondering why? When the answer has always been in Him, and your authority in Jesus.

God's promise is everything that you can ask for. True prosperity. The question is, are you prepared for it?
